A Day at the Beach Part 2

This was a spur of the moment beach day. I got the call around 12:30 yesterday afternoon stating that my group of friends is having a BBQ at Daytona Beach. I joined and these are my friends.

With A Red Ball

When I was in Tallahassee, Florida about a week and a half ago I went to Walmart and bought a red ball. At first I thought this was going to be a meaningless purchase, until today. I had an extra credit assignment for history I had to complete, so I parked on the roof of the library parking lot. I realized that my red ball was still in my trunk so Chelsea Price and myself decided to play with it. This is what we got.

I am updating this and saying that my new series is going to be with this red ball and possibly some different colors.

A Day at the Beach

These pictures were taken about 2 months ago. The only day it was hot out during the winter time in Florida.

Portraits

These are just some simple portraits I've taken over the past few weeks. Some are from my trip to Tallahassee, Florida.

Easter

My family doesn't get to see much of each other since we all live on different sides of town. But when a holiday comes around we are all eager to see whats in store for us. This picture is of my little niece Neveaha easter hunting in her own little section of my backyard. Oh and she also got herself into some paint.

Fear

I've recently been watch a show on MTV called, The Buried Life. The show started making me think of ways to get people to say what they are really afraid of instead of holding it inside of them. I've heard people being deathly afraid of spiders but that's not the type of fear I am looking to capture in these photos. The fears I want are the fears that we hold deep inside of us and that we only portray when the time is necessary. From these photos I hope I can get people to think deeper into themselves and realize that fear is a necessity in life that helps us grow as people. I also hope that these photos will help people think of the things they have done thus far in their lives and why they have done so. I think it might be working.
